Magellan Global Fund - Change of Investment strategy and manager

Effective 5 June 2026, Magellan Asset Management Limited, as Responsible Entity of the Magellan Global Fund – Open Class Units – Active ETF (APIR: MGE0001AU), announced changes to the fund, including a new investment strategy and a change of name. As part of these changes, Vinva Investment Management Limited has been appointed as the fund's Investment Manager.

As a result, the underlying fund for the OneAnswer Magellan Global investment option is now the Vinva Global Alpha Fund – Active ETF (APIR: MGE0001AU).

We are currently updating the investment option name across the OneAnswer product range and expect to communicate these changes to impacted investors by September 2026. Financial advisers with impacted clients in OneAnswer will receive further information about these changes via email before we contact their clients.

Advisers can view a list of their clients who currently hold Magellan Global via OneAnswer accounts by downloading a Client Portfolio Balances Report in Adviser Online Account Access.

  • Go to Account Access > Reports > Adviser Reports - Client Portfolio Balances
  • Filter by Fund Manager to find Magellan.
